About Us

MWC is a volunteer-run social community based around supporting women, femme, non-binary, and gender non-conforming climbers in the Madison, Wisconsin area. Presently, MWC is run by two co-chairs who each share a three year term as group leaders. In 2022, we added additional volunteer positions to help facilitate events, outings, and opportunities.

What do we do?

You can find us hosting climbing socials in the gym, practicing technical skills together, completing stewardship projects at local crags, offering climbing skills and fitness courses through Summit Strength & Fitness, cheering each other on at local comps, encouraging members to organize climbing trips, and much more!
